    [overview] => The Enterprise class is one of the most closely held secrets in the Periphery March: locally assembled JumpShips, built where the Inner Sphere agrees such things cannot be built. Introduced in 3023 as TriStar Interstellar's custom heavy hull, the 275,000-ton Enterprise carries five docking collars where most Inner Sphere JumpShips manage two to four, and — uniquely for a commercial hull — fourteen PPCs of genuine defensive armament, not token guns.
    [capabilities] => Five collars and a pair of hundred-meter grav decks make the Enterprise the backbone of TriStar's long-haul lift; the fourteen-PPC battery makes it something the Inner Sphere's merchant fleets are not — able to refuse a pirate's terms. The armament traces to the aftermath of the Tortuga Campaign, a fleet that had decided, with a shipping company's thoroughness, never to be defenseless again.
