Overview
The Caravan Block C is TriStar's heavy dry-bulk hauler: a 75,000-ton DropShip built around six 8,000-ton cargo bays — 48,000 tons of lift per hull — that carries the grain, ore, and processed goods paying for everything else the company does. Unglamorous, enormous, and everywhere the routes run.

Capabilities
Six large cargo bays and a simple, cheap-to-run profile make the Block C the workhorse of TriStar's commercial route fleet, pipelined station-to-planet on a roughly nine-day leg so that lift never waits on a JumpShip's recharge.

Deployment
Caravans move the freight backbone of the Periphery March economy across the commercial route network. Some 150 Block C hulls run the commercial routes; a militarized handful haul TSG logistics.

History
The Caravan is the freight half of the ledger the Enterprise's guns protect — the reason a shipping company could afford to become a state.
